3. What is the shelf life of DBE, and is pH important?
The recommended shelf life for DBE is 2 years at room temperature. However without contamination (including water from humidity) the DBE has a longer shelf life. The recommendation is to keep the pH neutral (about 7) but a pH of 5-8 should not effect the shelf life and avoid hydrolysis.
